Ryan Hare - Drums
Born to play the drums, Ryan Hare has been sitting on a drum throne since he can remember. With a background equal parts self-taught and formal music schooling, Ryan brings a professional attitude and skills to the table as well as a strong passion for contemporary drumming. At twenty-four years old he’s been on stage and in the studio with various projects in New England and abroad for the past 10 years. Versed in styles ranging from Blues, Afro-Cuban, Hip Hop, Jazz, to Rock & Americana, Ryan has developed a natural sense for laying down some serious rhythm.
Over the years he has built lasting connections in numerous music scenes including Asheville, NC, Sante Fe, NM, NYC, & most recently New England playing with 5 bands based out of Burlington, VT where he’s shared the stage with the likes of Poogie Bell, Stanton Moore, Adam Deitch, and many other innovative drummers.
In 2010, Hare relocated to the PNW and started Bellingham's own Wild Hare Drum School where he currently teaches over 30 private students and several enrichment programs throughout the Bellingham school district. In addition to teaching, Hare has recording and toured in the PNW with Hambone Wilson, Jim Bassnight Band, Cassidy Bloom & The Heirlooms, Laura Overstreet, Seeing Blind, Shanta Louise and most recently, Snug Harbor.
